How to get your HGV licence
To gain your Category C licence which will enable you to start a career as an HGV driver, follow these steps:
- Complete a driver medical assessment
- Apply for a provisional Category C licence
- Take your theory tests
- Undertake your practical driver training (with a reputable company)
- Complete the Driver CPC practical demonstration test (Module 4)
