GS Driver Training (Camberley)

Welcome to GS Driver Training. , My name is Gary Stevenson and I will be your instructor. I am passionate about training individuals to be competent and professional drivers so they can confidently launch themselves into new and lucrative driving careers. Based in Aldershot, I cover Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire through the Guildford test centre. I started working for the British Army in 2003, initially in a rifle company, where I obtained my Cat C driver training and a passion for HGV driving. I then moved company and went over to the Mechanical Transport Platoon where I specialised in various aspects of driving and driver training. In 2010 I left the regular army and went to work as a bodyguard out in Iraq, where I used my knowledge to teach the local nationals to drive armoured vehicles safely both on and off-road. Teaching someone whose first language is not English had its own problems and was a challenge but I soon adapted the way I taught and enjoyed great success.
